Denise Austin TV FAQ
What is the difference between the Denise Austin TV Apps and the Denise Austin Fitness Premium Subscription?
There are key differences between the Denise Austin TV apps and the Denise Austin Premium Subscription:
- Denise Austin TV Apps: The TV app subscription provides access to workouts only. This option offers a more streamlined experience for those who want to focus on fitness through video content. However, it does not include access to exclusive recipes, fitness challenges, or other premium resources.
- Denise Austin Fitness Premium Subscription: The Premium Subscription offers a complete fitness experience. In addition to the full library of workouts, you also gain access to exclusive recipes that support your healthy lifestyle, fitness challenges designed to keep you motivated, and expert tips and advice from Denise herself to guide you through your wellness journey.
The Fit TV apps are priced lower, reflecting their more basic feature set. For those looking to access a comprehensive wellness platform with personalized content and resources designed to support your fitness goals at every stage of life, the Premium Subscription offers the most value.

3. How can I watch Denise Austin workouts on my TV if I already have a Premium Subscription or mobile app subscription?
If you already have an active subscription through the Denise Austin mobile app (either iOS or Google Play) or the Premium Subscription and want to stream the workouts on your TV, you have several options:
Option 1: Screen Mirroring
You can mirror your mobile device or computer screen directly to your TV using wireless methods. The process will vary depending on your device:
- For iPhone users (AirPlay): Follow the steps below to mirror your iPhone’s screen to an Apple TV or compatible Smart TV via AirPlay.
- For Android users (Google Cast or Screen Mirroring): Follow the steps below to mirror your Android phone’s screen to your TV using Google Cast (for Chromecast) or the built-in screen mirroring feature (such as Miracast or Wireless Display).
For iPhone Users (AirPlay)
- Ensure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network: Your iPhone and Apple TV or compatible Smart TV need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Open the Control Center:
- On iPhone X or later: Swipe down from the upper-right corner of the screen.
- On iPhone 8 or earlier: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
- Select "Screen Mirroring": Tap the Screen Mirroring option in the Control Center.
- Choose your Apple TV or compatible Smart TV: A list of available devices will appear. Tap on your Apple TV or a compatible Smart TV.
- Enter the AirPlay Code (if prompted): If it’s your first time connecting your iPhone to the TV, a code will appear on the TV screen. Enter that code on your iPhone.
- Start Mirroring: Once connected, your iPhone’s screen will appear on the TV. You can now stream Denise Austin workouts or any other content from your phone to the TV.
Note: AirPlay is supported by most Apple TV models and certain Smart TVs (such as Samsung, LG, Vizio, and Sony) that have AirPlay 2 support. If your TV doesn't support AirPlay, you may need to use an Apple TV device.
For Android Users (Google Cast or Screen Mirroring)
There are two main ways for Android users to mirror their phones to a TV: using Google Cast (for devices like Chromecast) or the built-in screen mirroring feature.
Option 1: Using Google Cast (Chromecast)
- Set up your Chromecast: Ensure your Chromecast device or Google Cast-enabled Smart TV is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Android device.
- Open the Content to Cast: On your Android phone, open the app you want to cast content from (such as the Denise Austin app or a web browser).
- Start Casting: In most apps, you’ll see a Cast icon (a small rectangle with waves in the bottom left corner). Tap the Cast icon to begin casting.
- Select your Chromecast or Google Cast-enabled TV: A list of available devices will appear. Choose your Chromecast device or Google Cast-enabled TV from the list.
- Enjoy your content on TV: The content from your Android phone will now be mirrored onto your TV. You can watch your Denise Austin workouts on the big screen.
Option 2: Using Built-in Screen Mirroring (Wireless Display)
- Connect your phone and TV to the same Wi-Fi network: Make sure both your Android phone and TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Enable Screen Mirroring on Your TV: For many TVs, you will need to enable Screen Mirroring or Miracast through the TV’s menu. This varies by brand but look for options under Display, Input, or Network Settings.
- Activate Screen Mirroring on Your Android Device: On your Android phone, swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Quick Settings menu.
- Look for an option called Cast, Screen Mirroring, Smart View, or Wireless Display (the name may vary depending on your phone model). Tap the corresponding option to enable screen mirroring.
- Select your TV: Your phone will search for available devices. Select your TV from the list to begin mirroring.
- Start Mirroring: Once connected, your phone’s screen will appear on the TV. You can now play the Denise Austin workouts or other content from your phone and view it on a larger screen.
Option 2: Using an HDMI Cable
For a more stable and reliable streaming experience, you can use an HDMI cable to connect your device directly to your TV. This is a wired method, and it ensures a strong, uninterrupted connection. Here’s how you can do it:
- Connect one end of the HDMI cable to your device (computer, phone, or tablet).
- Plug the other end of the HDMI cable into your TV’s HDMI port.
- Select the corresponding HDMI input on your TV, and your device’s screen should appear on the TV, allowing you to stream your workouts without any issues.
Using an HDMI cable gives you a more consistent experience, especially if you're concerned about Wi-Fi connectivity or want to avoid any potential buffering during your workout.
4. Is the app experience on TV optimized?
While the app is functional on TV platforms, please note that it was not specifically designed for large TV screens. As a result, the display may not always be perfect. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and want to assure you that we are actively working on improving the experience.
