Fall For Fitness Nutrition Tips
Coffee and tea. The caffeine in coffee (and some teas) as well as the catechins in some teas have been shown to help increase metabolic rate. Aim for plain, black coffee so as not to add extra calories, and choose matcha or green tea for the most metabolism boost.
Chili peppers and ginger. The chemical in chili peppers called capsaicin has been shown to help burn extra calories, as has adding ginger powder to hot water. So put both these spices in your cart!
Lean fish and meats, nuts, eggs and dairy. All these foods are rich in protein - which has been shown to boost metabolism for a period of time after consuming. And if you don't eat meat, make sure to add legumes and beans to your meals, as they are excellent sources of plant-based protein. My online program includes plenty of protein-rich recipes - both vegetarian and regular, so give it a try!
Water. While studies show it may only briefly boost metabolism, water is a good way to make you feel full so you eat less. Plus its benefits for your skin, digestive system, and energy levels are well-proven, so add a few more glasses of water to every day!
I hope these metabolism-boosting tips help you - add in regular exercise and are sure to see changes in your weight!
