Fit Over 50 2025 Fitness!

Welcome readers of my Fit Over 50 Magazine! Fitness is obviously near and dear to my heart, and people are constantly asking me how to stick with a workout routine. Below are some of my tried-and-true tactics, so give them a try if you feel yourself not exercising consistently!


  1. Remember that every little bit counts. If you are short on time or energy, go for a 10-minute walk. It will help get your blood flowing, burns some calories and is good for your wellbeing. Start doing this a few times a day and soon you will have been exercising for 30 minutes or more!
  2. Do an exercise you actually enjoy doing. You are more likely to stick with something that brings you joy!
  3. Grab an accountability buddy. Working out with someone else gives you that push forward to start - and finish - a workout!
  4. If you are traveling, don’t let fitness go to the wayside. Plan walks where you are traveling to, do push ups, sit ups and lunges in your hotel room, or join my Denise Austin Plan and work out with me anywhere, anytime!

Remember that everyone falls off from time to time, all it takes is a few days of consistency to get back in the groove! You can do it!
